REVIEW: T7B v6.0 saw continued ineptitude in the portfolio with an unacceptable 3-4 ledger. Worse, the ledger included a miss on my feature play, the “Top Choice.”

From the betting perspective, I’m poised to again enter the arena and rejoin the winning ethos.

• It’s a play on the Auburn Tigers in reception of +7 points when it hosts LSU in a SEC showdown Saturday afternoon at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn. I’m looking for Auburn to stack on success from last week while getting a full touchdown, at home. I just think it’s a bit too many points when the turnover metrics favor the home team. Grab the +7.

KEY OPINION

• This is a play on the visiting Ole Miss Rebels getting +3.5 points when it opposes the Texas Longhorns Saturday afternoon in Austin. I think the wrong team is favored. How can you trust Texas? The Longhorns and certain players are overrated. Plain and simple. It’s a public underdog which is always sketchy but I’ll take my chances. I know I have the better QB. Play to +3.

Is the NFL going to play in Mogadishu next? Port au Prince? Anywho, Saints games are an insta-over play. The Steelers’ QB should have a big day. My xAAPT here is 47. Play to 45.5.

• This is a play on the New York Jets laying -4.5 points when it hosts the Miami Dolphins Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Jets are testy and an ascending project. The Dolphins are terrible and that’s being nice. Play to -5.5.

• This is a play on the Cleveland Browns giving a point-and-a-half when it travels to Nashville to oppose the Tennessee Titans Sunday afternoon at Nissan Stadium. I think the Browns are a bit overlooked. This team has quietly won four of its last five games. The Titans offensive situation disqualifies them from backing from me. The only angle in backing Tennessee is rooted in recency bias from last week. This is a manageable number with I believe the clear better team. No jive, play to -2.5.

• This is a play on the Green Bay Packers getting +3.5 points when it visits Ford Fiels to play the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon. I’ve been anti-Lions since the summer. The Detroit defense is terrible. Green Bay is in some sort of a Renaissance. The offense should have a big day here. Back the Pack and play to +3. Anything worse than +3 means inclusion in Auxiliary markets.

MY TAKE

It’s a play on the New York Football Giants getting +10.5 points when it visits NRG Stadium to oppose the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon. I didn’t anticipate being on NYG as my feature play in back-to-back weeks but here we are. Last week was what it was. I will say things were going swimmingly before the fumbled KR right before HT. Here, this is too many points and a weird market overreaction to a change in QB for Big Blue. The Giants I watched last week ascended with the QB it’s starting in Houston. Speaking of the Texans, I don’t like the offense. Can they score enough to cover this number? I’m skeptical. Mind you, the Texans played in London just last week. For all that, it’s NYG +10.5 for me as the *Top Choice* for this T7B release.
