KEY OPINION

• It’s a play on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the North Carolina Tar Heels to stay under the total of 46.5 points when the teams meet Saturday afternoon at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill. I’m calling on the best defense going and another top-40 defense overseen by a HC (Bill Belichick) who knows a thing or two about defense to carry the day. Grab the (Un) 46.5. We’re clearly not getting near the best of the number.

• UW: Top 50 nationally in Scoring Offense (48th, 30.3 PPG), YPP (49th, 5.8) and 3rdD Conv% (49th, 48.5%). The Badgers are tied for 1st in the country in RZ Scoring% (100.0).

KEY OPINION

• This is a play on the Michigan State Spartans and the Wisconsin Badgers to go over the total of 43.5 points when the teams meet Saturday afternoon at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison. I look at the Wisconsin win at Penn State last week as a renaissance. I think the Badgers can stack on offensive potency and success here. The Spartans can’t be any worse offensively than it was last week against Nebraska. The Wisconsin defense isn’t as good as the Nebraska defense. This has to be a moment for success with the ball for Michigan State. It’s a try on the over for me here. Play to 44.

KEY OPINION

• This is a play on the Texas A&M Aggies as 14-point favorites when it hosts the Arkansas Razorbacks Saturday afternoon at Kyle Field in College Station. Very simply, I think this is a market overreaction to the recent failures of A&M. I’m understanding of the fact A&M hasn’t done anything to warrant laying this big a number but I’m undeterred. The main issue here is Arkansas is not a legit SEC team. They’re way down. It’ll be all A&M in a get-right spot. Lay it and play it to -14.5.

— MIAMI (FL)/CLEMSON OVER 47.5 POINTS

• UM: The Miami offense is T1st nationally in RZ Score% (100.0) & 4D Conv% (100.0). The Canes rank 3rd in 3D Conv% (57.58%) & 6th in YPP (7.3). UM is 7th in Scoring Offense (43.3 PPG) & Total Offense (499.7 YPG).

• CLEM: 62nd in the country in Yards Per Carry (YPC, 4.2) & 72nd in Completion% (62.39%).

KEY OPINION

• This is a play on the game to go over the total (47.5) when the Miami Hurricanes visit the Clemson Tigers in a key ACC matchup Saturday evening at Memorial Stadium in Clemson. There is no reason to believe the Miami offense can be stopped. I think Clemson can manage a few scores. I’m not going to overthink nor sensationalize it and will trust my initial instinct of which this is a manageable number to go over. Play to 48.5.

KEY OPINION

• This is a play on the San Francisco 49ers laying two-and-a-half points against the Denver Broncos when the two teams meet Sunday afternoon at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. Denver was all-in and some would say fortunate to come back and beat Los Angeles last week. It seems like the Broncos haven’t played its best football yet. The 49ers have been great. Its quarterback has been great. I detest this spot for Denver. At home? Under a field-goal? I’m in with San Francisco. Grab the -2.5.

• This is a play on the Atlanta Falcons and the New Orleans Saints to usurp the total of 47.5 when the two teams meet on Monday Night Football from the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. I just think this will be a points extravaganza where both offenses are better than its opposing defenses. These are two offenses both in the T11 of Total Offense, league wide, we are discussing here. No jive, play to 48.5.

MY TAKE

It’s a play on the Los Angeles Rams and the Philadelphia Eagles to ascend over the posted total of 42.5 points when the two teams meet Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. I just think this total is a bit low. This is really a play on the situation. Both offenses are due as both teams are coming off losses. There should be offensive volume. Both defenses have shown vulnerability. The last three H2H meetings in this series have usurped the total. I’m comfortable playing this to a point higher than this release. So for all that, It’s a try on LAR-PHI OV 42.5 for me as the Top Choice pursuant to The 7 Best v4.0.
