The College Football season is back and in full go. Here we are at the first full-rate, full-schedule Saturday of the CFB season and I’m absolutely here for it. I keep telling you on my X page how “Proper Saturdays” are for consuming the Premier League followed by (tons) College Football.
From the betting perspective, this is my first entry into the College Football market for the new season. The only other actions I’ve shared were Futures relevant to the publish of Collision Course: Days of Future Past (see below).

I just think this is a spot where it’s prudent to get involved in the same-game ethos. I like Cal. I think the Bears are being underrated in this spot. I think UCLA is being overvalued due to a coaching change. I like the Under. It’s a ton of points to ask to score on the first Saturday of the season. So let’s manipulate the number with both at a reasonable price.

It’s a play on the Wyoming Cowboys and the Colorado State Rams to stay under the posted total of 46.5 points when the rivals meet Saturday afternoon to open its seasons at Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins, Co. My angle here to respect the scoring nature of the series in-total. One of the last 5 meetings has exceeded this total. Last year saw 28 points in the game with one team being shutout. I think the fact this game is being played to open the season helps the cause as, possibly, both offenses aren’t at optimum level. It’s a rivalry game. I’ll trust the defenses to carry the day. For all that, WYO- CSU Un 46.5 (-10) is the Top Choice for CFB Wk 1.

I passed on this to focus on other positions. There was some reservation due to a reverse pricing occurrence as SMU was as high as -65 on the moneyline.
