The Premeir League is the Best League in the World and the Best League There Is. Other leagues simply don’t measure up.

LAS VEGAS — Here it is. Championship Sunday fixtures are ready as Premier League action is here and Matchweek 38 is all systems go. We’ve made it to the end of the competition! This term really flew by. In total, from the gaming perspective, we had some highs and lows. From an insight perspective, I thought Darkseid Sports made significant strides citing what happened with Michael Carrick at Manchester United. Back to business, MW37 was terrible again with an 0-3 ledger. As I said on my X page, the fact this went glacial heading into MW38 will bother me forever. Even so, I’m back again to rejoin the winning ethos — which hopefully is to include — satisfaction of the *Best Bet by Darkseid Sports and to close the term strong.

In total, I regressed this term citing a terrible finish. I bottled it. While I still did better than others in the space, I didn’t meet my established standards nor the goals I had for the term.

  • Having the *Best Bet by Darkseid Sports* convert in 9 of 12 releases late-season. This was the high-point for the Feature Play.
  • Recommending the hire of Michael Carrick for Manchester United. As I’ve said, this was on me. The rest speaks for itself.

MY TAKE

The BTTS Special saw mixed results this term. We had some nice wins and some bad losses. But that was the entire portfolio, wasn’t it?

In future terms and in future releases, I’ll be undeterred in my pursuit of delivering winners on the regular. Thanks for following along with The BTTS Special all season.

As for WHULEE, I’m quizzical as to what to say reallyl: I think both teams can score a goal in this specific match.

We converted quite a bit of these this competition. . I won’t be denied goi g forward. The BTTS Special faltered again in MW37 without even a vista of a view. Aside, shops really priced-out this market late season.

MY TAKE

For the *Best Bet by Darkseid Sports* for MW38, it’s a play on Brighton and Hove Albion and Manchester United to stay Under 3.5 Goals when the two sides joust on Championship Sunday at the American Express Community Stadium. United has already said it will feature youth and reserve players. Brighton has been a solid defensively for term. I think the total is a bit high. I wouldn’t touch it at 3. In the build to MW35, I disclosed whether Michael Carrick should be given a full-time appointment. Man Utd made the correct decision.

OFFICIAL POSITION: My take is…there is no take. Imagine thinking this is a decision so simpleton in nature where we do the do si do where all the higher-ups sit down and talk about it and then make a decision. We’re way past that. This has been a Trial by Combat overseen by the Football Gods. There isn’t a decision to make. It will make itself. We all the know the scope of this job. We all know about Michael Carrick’s playing and coaching credentials. Blah blah. Not of that matters. The table makes this choice for us. There’s nothing more to say. IF Manchester United qualifies for the Top Four and Champions League (well I guess this term is Top 5) play then Michael Carrick has *earned* full-time appointment as Manchester United boss. I also firmly believe this isn’t a moment for the club to overhaul its managerial process. Continuity is needed. And most importantly, we know under INEOS Man Utd doesnt have unlimited resources. As we sit here today, the club would be better served spending its time, energy, headspace and resources strengthening the squad. It appears to already have a manager.
We did it.
