TOP CHOICE:

NEVADA (+1.5) at UNLV

📚: BetMGM

Wolfpack Basketball on X

KEY METRICS

  • UNR: 16-12 ATS season to-date. Reno outclassed UNLV 89-76 on 1.30.26. The Wolfpack is 34th nationally in TO’s (9.9) & 66th in FT% (75.5).
  • UNLV: 12-15 ATS season to-date. The Runnin’ Rebels are 325th in 3PT%/A (36.3), 285th in FT% (69.1) & 237th in TO’s (11.8).

MY TAKE

Taking the better basketball team in total which has an advantage in the realms of free-throw shooting and taking care of the basketball, it’s a play on the Nevada Wolfpack — at +1.5 points herein —- as the infamous Top Choice pursuant to the Saturday Super 5 (v16.0). UNLV is not very good and has had a long, tough season. UNR has enough for this, even if on the road in a conference and bitter rivalry game. The UNLV defense, FT-shooting and turnover metrics are disqualifying. For all that, it’s a play on UNR +1.5 as the day’s Top Choice.

AUXILIARIES

No entries this release citing a need for a pause in the market further citing wholesale ineptitude in said market.

YTD: 4-6

🏀: San Francisco at PACIFIC (-3.5)

I passed on this to focus on other positions. I felt the above 5 actions were of better quality.

FUTURISTICS REVISITED

So far so good, still. Cameron Boozer is the best player in America, as a true freshman. Saint Louis is almost there but work remains.
