We go again.

LAS VEGAS — Here it is. Saturday through Monday Premier League action is upon us and Matchweek 16 is all systems go. What a stretch of football this has been in England’s top flight lately. Explosive results and storylines all over. From the betting perspective, MW15 saw a renewal to standard with a 2-1 ledger including satisfaction of both The BTTS Special and the *Best Bet by Darkseid Sports*.
Anywho, moving on, I’m bullish on my chances at the weekend. Here is the deal for MW16:
THE TIMELINE
COINCEDENTAL STADIUM of the WEEK
A series depicting a stadium which corresponds to a play featured in The Premier League Prologue actions to open the show.
- Stadium of Light, Sunderland, England.

MW16 POSITIONS PL
*Best Bet by Darkseid Sports* RECORD: 6-7-2 (Record displayed in Win-Loss-Push format)
2025-26 PUBLISHED BET RECORD: 22-22-2 (All plays, W-L-P format).
- Straight Bets: 22-16-2
- Parlays: 0-5 (?!?)
- Proposition (SoT, ATG, etc.): 0-1
These results are unacceptable, embarrassing and so far beneath established standards. I hate it. I couldn’t even bring myself to list the percentages. Obviously, the time is now to go on a run and stack on the success from MW14-15.

- LIVBHA BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
- MUNBOU BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
📚: FanDuel

KEY METRICS
- LIVBHA: 49 GF aggregate. 45 GA aggregate.
- MUNBOU: 47 GF aggregate. 46 GA aggregate.
KEY OPINION
This is a play on the fact the data and mathematics say all parties will score and allow a goal in this match.
MY TAKE
The BTTS Special has seen mixed results thus far but I’m undeterred in the pursuit of delivering winners. Not sure what I’m supposed to say really re: my take on The BTTS Special: I think all parties can score a goal in its respective match.

KEY METRICS:
- SUN: T5/20 in GA (17) & T5/20 in GA/90 (1.13). Sunderland is 2/20 in GK/SV% (75.0).
- NEW: N/A. There isn’t much numeric data or real evidence to support fading Newcastle. This is a situational play based on rivalry, nostalgia and Sunderland’s defensive prowess.
SUPERFACT

KEY OPINION
- I just think there is value in backing home Sunderland here getting the half-goal. I think Sunderland will have something for Newcastle in the Tyne-Wear Derby.

— ⚽️BB: CHEEVE UNDER 2.5 GOALS (-05)
📚: Circa Sports

KEY METRICS
- CHE: Two GS in L3 PL matches. The Blues are T3/20 in GA (15).
- EVE: 0 GA last two PL matches. The Toffees are T5/20 in GA (17).
SUPERFACT

KEY OPINION
- I see this as a spot where goals should be hard to come by. If you notice the recent Team Form data you’d surmise Chelsea has had scoring issues lately. Such, coupled with the form of Everton’s defense and goalkeeping has me opining the under.
MY TAKE
For the *Best Bet by Darkseid Sports* for MW16, it’s a play going Under the total — at 2.5 goals herein — when Chelsea hosts Everton Saturday afternoon at Stamford Bridge in London. Chelsea is coming off a mid-week UCL loss and has been of a certain way lately. Now it has to come back for the early-ish Saturday slate? With Jordan Pickford in net for Everton a Clean Sheet is never a whisper of a dream. He hasn’t allowed a goal in his last two league matches (BOU, NFO). Clearly the Toffees are stout defensively right now. It’s a very thrifty price to play under, I think. Now, for all that, CHEEVE ⬇️2.5 is your *Best Bet by Darkseid Sports* for the Premier League Matchweek 16.

FC Record YTD: 8-4

I passed on this to focus on other positions. There was reservation b/c both clubs are sterling defensively.

BEYOND THE TABLE
You can get the Premier League Table anywhere. It’s still superfluous at MW16. I’ll check it out next month. But a Table built on xG is something we can use for Sports Investment purposes in the now and Squawka has done solid, practical work in bringing us this PL Table built on xG.

FUTURISTICS REVISITED
It’s tostadas at MW16 Palmer got hurt and removed from the club entirely it seems. Kinda weird. Amad creates and has been fine for Man Utd but it hasn’t translated to goals. It happens. Brentford has vastly exceeded any expectation anybody had. I had it wrong there.
