We go again.

LAS VEGAS — Here it is. Weeknd fixtures are fair game as Saturday through Monday Premier League action is upon us and Matchweek 23 is all systems go. From the betting perspective, MW22 saw more bad business with another 0-3 ledger including yet another all-time level tough beat on the *Best Bet by Darkseid Sports*. The Feature Play has succumbed in stoppage time in each of its last three releases. As a bettor, one must understand how, in my fact-based opinion, the Premier League weaponizes VAR decisions and stoppage time against the gambling community. This is why I’m always hammering the point in my writings and postings as to how hard this league is to bet at +EV level.
Anywho, moving on, I’m bullish on my chances again. This glacial period can’t last. Here is the deal for MW23:
THE TIMELINE
COINCEDENTAL STADIUM of the WEEK
A series depicting a stadium which corresponds to a play featured in The Premier League Prologue actions to open the show.
- Emirates Stadium, London, England

MW23 POSITIONS PL
*Best Bet by Darkseid Sports* RECORD: 8-11-3 (Record displayed in Win-Loss-Push format)
2025-26 PUBLISHED BET RECORD: 31-36-3 (All plays, W-L-P format).
- Straight Bets (Sides, Totals, BTTS): 31-26-3
- Parlays: 0-6 (?!?)
- Proposition (SoT, ATG, Team Props, etc.): 0-4
These results are unacceptable, embarrassing and so far beneath established standards. I hate it. I couldn’t even bring myself to list the percentages. The last three weeks with the Feature Play have really hurt my feelings. Obviously, the time is now to end the glacial stuff and go on a run.

BTTS SUPERFACT

KEY OPINION
This is a play on the fact the data and mathematics say both parties will score a goal in this match.
MY TAKE
The BTTS Special has seen mixed results thus far but I’m undeterred in the pursuit of delivering winners. Not sure what I’m supposed to say really re: my take on The BTTS Special: I think both parties can score a goal in its respective match.

KEY OPINION
- I just think there is value in backing the Under here when both teams are coming off midweek European play and both clubs have important European play fixtures upcoming in the midweek.

BEST BET SUPERFACT

KEY OPINION
- I see this as a spot where we have two low-scoring sides but Sunderland gets an upgrade defensively with its AFCON defections back home.
MY TAKE
For the *Best Bet by Darkseid Sports* for MW23, it’s a play on West Ham – Sunderland to stay Under the posted total of 2.5 Goals, as of this writing. I would not play this at 2. Going Under 2 is not a service offered by Darkseid Sports. Both these clubs struggle to score goals. West Ham isn’t very good in total. With the Black Cats’ AFCON defections back, it should lock down the Hammers. For all that, (WHUSUN UNDER 2.5) is your *Best Bet by Darkseid Sports* for the Premier League Matchweek 23.

I passed on this to focus on other positions. There was reservation due to the fact this is a big ask and I liked the BTTS better (see above).

BEYOND THE TABLE
You can get the Premier League Table anywhere. It matters at MW23, obviously. But a Table built on xG is something we can use for Sports Investment purposes over the course of the competition in the now and Squawka has done solid, practical work in bringing us this PL Table built on xG.

FUTURISTICS REVISITED
It’s tostadas at MW23. Cole Palmer would have to go on a run, which is possible as he’s been superb upon his return. Amad creates and has been fine for United but the AFCON absence was detrimental. He’s back going good but would need a huge finish to the term. Brentford has vastly exceeded any expectation anybody had. I had it wrong there.
