The Premeir League is the Best League in the World and the Best League There Is. Other leagues simply don’t measure up.

LAS VEGAS — Here it is, with good tidings and Holiday cheer. The Festive Fixtures are here. Saturday through Monday Premier League action is upon us and Matchweek 17 is all systems go. Saturday’s EPL card is an absolute blockbuster. From the betting perspective, MW16 saw a continuation of standards with a 2-1 ledger including satisfaction of the *Best Bet by Darkseid Sports*.

Anywho, moving on, I’m bullish on my chances at the weekend. Here is the deal for MW16:

KEY OPINION

This is a play on the fact the data and mathematics say both parties will allow a goal in this match. I also believe when bad teams get together weird things happen.

MY TAKE

The BTTS Special has seen mixed results thus far but I’m undeterred in the pursuit of delivering winners. Not sure what I’m supposed to say really re: my take on The BTTS Special: I think both parties can score a goal in its respective match.

We are going to hit these as the term progresses. I won’t be denied, except for all the parlays and the MW16 result in this market.

I teamed with Grok to bring you a TOTLIV SuperFact and we find this has been a potent scoring fixture, historically.

KEY OPINION

  • I just think there is value in backing the over here at any number under 3 with a price under -160. I also think Arne Slot will want his Reds to deliver a performance in the absence of the great, albeit embattled Mo Salah.

If Man Utd is good to allow a goal, why wouldn’t it allow two goals too, first, against a better opponent on its home pitch?

KEY OPINION

  • For me, I just can’t get past the AFCON defections (Mbeumo, Amad), the injuries to the United backline and the timing of the Bruno Fernandes controversy for me to back the Red Devils here. Plus, bluntly, Villa is the better side right now and is in better form. It might even have the better manager, too.
It’s time for the *Best Bet by Darkseid Sports* for MW17.

I’ve always said when fit and on his day Mason Mount is one of the top all around players in the entire competition. He does everything, at minimum, on a Premier League level. There is no glaring weakness to his on-pitch game. His weaknesses are less-glaring than others, which is a compliment. Every manager who has this guy on his squad picks him to play.

KEY METRICS

  • Mount: Three goals L8 PL matches 1+ SoT in three of last four PL matches.

Mason Mount SuperFacts. 2.5\8 matches would be a xG of 0.31 per match. That number factored-in with his current form and place in the United attack tells me 1+ SoT is absolutely within his purview.

KEY OPINION

  • I see this as a spot where Mason Mount can have influence in this match on behalf of Manchester United.
The team is better when Mount is better.

MY TAKE

For the *Best Bet by Darkseid Sports* for MW17, it’s a play on Mason Mount (Manchester United) having 1+ Shots on Target when Man Utd plays Aston Villa Sunday afternoon at Villa Park in Birmingham, England. Pretty Straightforward, really. United has injuries and AFCON defections so A) I think Mount will feature. He should start. If he comes in at 60 minutes, so be it and B) I think he will have an impact on the match regardless. Dare I say he has to for United to be competitive versus a strong Villa side. 1 SoT at this price is very manageable and benevolent on behalf of the bookmakers. For all that, Mount 1+ SoT (-10) is your *Best Bet by Darkseid Sports* for the Premier League Matchweek 17.

The Darkseid Sports First Cut is a renowned play in the American football markets which denotes my top play which didn’t make the final card. It was 6-5 (ATS) pursuant to The 7 Best. It is meant to provide thought-provocation in the realm of overthinking and making wrong final judgements on your cards.
