As always, Good Luck and Play Responsibly.

This is v6.0 of the 2025-26 edition of the Super 5. We’re re off to an OK start but the auxiliary actions could be better.
The premise of the Super 5 is to release my 5 best positions — which I bet myself with my own money — across College Basketball’s biggest leagues and in select action in the lower leagues.

LAS VEGAS — Here it is. A glorious midweek slate of quality College Basketball is upon us and I’m back to deliver winners on my Top 5 positions — the Super 5 — for the Tuesday CBB betting board, including the world-famous Potency Play and Top Choice. NORTH CAROLINA A&T/CHARLOTTE OVER 145.5 POINTS

📚: Multi

The A&T X account isn’t very active so here is the team schedule.

KEY METRICS

  • A&T: All 5 Aggies’ games this season have eclipsed this number. A&T is 88th nationally in FG% (48.0%). Aggies are 345th in 3PT%/A (39.3%) & 302nd FG%/A (46.6%).
  • CHAR: 49ers are 297th nationally in FG%/A (46.5%) & 315th in 3PT%/A (36.9%).
  • My xAPPT: 152
49ers Basketball on X.

MY TAKE

It’s a play going over the total, at 145.5 Points herein, when the Charlotte 49ers host the North Carolina A&T Aggies Tuesday night at the Dale F. Halton Arena. I’m not going to pretend to tell you I watch a ton of either program, but I will trust the “Math & Metrics” which tell me both teams struggle defensively and wager this to 147.5.

EAST TENNESSEE STATE (+11.5) at Dayton

📚: Multi

Buccaneers Basketball on X.

KEY METRICS

  • ETSU: 5-1 ATS. 38th nationally in FG% (50.4%) & 53rd in AST/TO (1.6). The Bucs are 22nd in FG%/A (37.1%).
  • DAY: 197th nationally in FG%/A (43.6%). The Flyers are 302nd in TREB (31.5) & 311th in OREB (8.4).
Get to know the Bucs.

MY TAKE

It’s a play on the visiting ETSU Buccaneers getting 11.5 points when it plays away at the Dayton Flyers Tuesday evening at the University of Dayton Arena. I just think this is a bit much here with the spread. The Bucs have quality. I don’t know if ETSU will win, but it can absolutely parachute in. Play to +11.

ETSU +11.5 is the official Potency Play for today.

UCONN/KANSAS UNDER 143.5 POINTS

📚: Multi

Huskies Basketball on X

KEY METRICS

  • UCONN: 16th in the country in 3PT%/A (25.5%) & 26th in FG%/A (37.5%).
  • KAN: 11th nationally in 3PT%/A (24.5%) & 25th in FG%/A (37.4%).
  • My xAAPT: 140
Jayhawks Basketball on X.

MY TAKE

It’s a play going under the total, at 143.5 points herein, when the Kansas Jayhawks host the UCONN Huskies Tuesday night in an out-of-conference blockbuster from Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence. Kansas is still (AOTW) w/out its star freshman. Both teams play to the under and have been sterling defensively. Neither team is allowing over 37.5% FG%/A! So, it’s a try going under for me. Play to 143.

GEORGIA/FLORIDA STATE UNDER 175.5 POINTS

📚: Multi

Bulldogs Basketball on X.

KEY METRICS

  • UGA: 41st in the country in FG%/A (38.6%).
  • FSU: 1-6 O/U. 86th nationally in FG%/A (40.5%).
  • My xAAPT: 169
FSU Hoops on X.

MY TAKE

It’s a play going under the total, at a robust 175.5 herein, when the Florida State Seminoles host the Georgia Bulldogs in a ACC/SEC Challenge border battle Tuesday night at the Donald L. Tucker Center in Tallahassee. I’m not denying defense should be optional here but this number is absolutely outrageous. A couple stops here and there and this can track meet can still go under. Grab the 175.5 though to be safe.

It’s time for the day’s Top Choice in College Basketball for the Super 5 (v6.0).

TOP CHOICE:

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA (-1.5) at Oregon

📚: Multi

USC Basketball on X.

KEY METRICS

  • USC: 44th in the country in 3PT%/A (27.7%) & 47th in 3PT% (38.2%). USC is 64th nationally in AST/TO (1.5).
  • ORE: 0-7 ATS. 225th nationally in FG%/A (44.3%). The offense is 335th in FG% (40.3) & 280th in 3PT%/A (30.4%). It also ranks 291st in TO’s (13.3) & 250th in AST/TO (1.0).
Ah yes USC – Oregon, the quintessential B1G joust.

MY TAKE

It’s a play on the visiting USC Trojans laying a point-and-a-half on the road to open Big 10 Conference play versus the Oregon Ducks Tuesday night at the Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene. Plainly, I think USC is better than Oregon and are only ascending. Oregon doesn’t do it for me. They couldn’t close (ATS) a “Breakfast Only” Diner. Its offensive metrics are quite messy. I can’t get there, even at home. So, on the road, for all that, USC -1.5 is the TOP CHOICE pursuant to today’s Super 5 card. Fight On!

AUXILIARIES

2TM 6PT TSR. My standard. You can find them in more places than you think. These were placed at my point of numeric satisfaction, whether it be overnight or early morning lines.

🏀: 2TM 6PT TSR

TENNESSEE -1.5

DUKE -1.5

Pretty Straightforward: I’ll move bth the Volunteers and Blue Devils down. I like this one.

🏀: 2TM 6PT TSR

MIAMI (FLA) +10.5

KENTUCKY pk

Here, the Hurricanes move up and the Wildcats move down.

Again, the points just mean more in my hands.

YTD: 0-0

🏀: A&M (-2.5) at PITT

I passed on the Aggies to focus on other positions. I liked my two plays in the lower leagues more. I chose A&M over Duke for First Cut status.

FUTURISTICS REVISITED

So far so good…

BEYOND THE RIM

A series focused on honoring players, teams and coaches from yesteryear in College Basketball.

Player of the Week:

RIP. This stays up for another S5 release.

Coach of the Week

UNLV never should’ve let him go to Oklahoma, in my fact-based opinion.
