Two Future positions for the 2025-26 College Basketball season.

LAS VEGAS — On the heels of an offseason which felt like it literally took forever, the new College Basketball season is upon us. I’m back this term to fully immerse myself in the sport as I no longer have any fan association with the NBA and feel (like I always have) CBB is a better team game and truer version of this fine sport. Full discourse, I’m still not over the Duke loss to Houston. It will take a long time as I was emotionally invested in last year’s team.
The good news is the Duke team for this year should be good. After last year, I have no expectations or predictions. How could I if a team like last year’s couldn’t get the job done?
I’m also back to reclaim my place and rightful status of being a market leader and dignitary in the CBB betting space. Last season’s results — specifically the volume plays — bother me to this day. I’m open to anything and everything this term. No restrictions. Any conference, wager type…whatever…it’s all fair game this term, with an emphasis placed on the Super 5.
CBB PRIMER
CBB FUTURISTICS
Now then, just two Future positions this term. All the favorites in the conference market are short-priced as is the championship market. The value just isn’t there right now. Maybe it will be in-season?

KEY OPINION
This is a play on a high double-double output player who theoretically could lead his team to a regular season and conference tournament title and a high-seed in the NCAAT.
MY TAKE
Get to know Cam Boozer. The sky is the limit. Full disclosure, I wanted to play this in the ACC POY market but could not find it offered locally. Yes, this is a big ask. Yes, this is likely a bridge too far. Yes, it would be beyond incredible. But what if I told you Duke could go B2B seasons with a Freshman National POY? At 10/1? It’s worth a pizza-party level play.

I asked Grok to preview the Billikens and thought it did a satisfactory job being objective and accurate.
MY TAKE
If you’ve followed me on X during past College Basketball seasons then you would know I’ve been following and touting SLU hoops for some years now. I think this is the year the Billikens get it done. The A10 could be a multi-bid league…it’s that competitive. It’s also a play on VCU taking a step back, Dayton being unable to claim that top spot and George Washington not quite being ready for primetime. At over $4 to the good, I’ll pick this side and take the ride. SLU to win the A10 regular season title is the play here.

SATURDAY SUPER 5
With the College Basketball season now here, get to know the Super 5. It’s back for yet another term as is other featured plays in the market such as the Teaser Special and the world-famous Potency Play. I’m thinking the SUPER 5 will debut at the conclusion of the CFB regular season. Any College Basketball actions before then will be in The CBB Prologue ethos.
