We go again.

LAS VEGAS — Here it is. The Premier League weekend is here and Matchweek 6 is all systems go. As for the aftermath of MW5, I thought the Arsenal – City match delivered. It seems to me, early on, as many expected, Liverpool, City and Arsenal are the top three squads in the Premeiership. Manchester United walked in high cotton for a change in jettison of (my personal rival) Chelsea. Dare I say Man Utd could’ve passed that off as luxury. Which coming from me is a compliment. I thought Erling Haaland has put an early lockdown on the goal-scoring title. I also think there is no stopping high, long throw-ins. Everybody is doing it. Maybe instead of PK’s we could have a throw-in competition by total distance to determine winners in KO competitions? Ok I kid I kid. Anywho, here we are for MW6 and hopefully I have some winners for you now. MW5 was clearly the worst business I’ve done to-date for term. I’m looking to rebound here.

KEY METRICS
- CRY: 3/20 in Aggregate xG (8.3) & npxG/90 (1.50).
- LIV: 1/20 in Goals/90 (2.20)
KEY OPINION
This is a play on the current, potent form of the Eagles and an overall expectation when the Reds play it is going to score.
MY TAKE
The BTTS Special has been very un-special thus far but I’m undeterred in the pursuit of delivering a winner here. Not sure what I’m supposed to say really re: my take on The BTTS Special: I think all parties involved can score a goal in its respective match.

— ⚽️: CHE 90+ (-25)
📚: William Hill/Caesars

KEY METRICS:
- CHE: 4/20 Aggregate xG (8.1) & 4/20 npxG/90 (1.46). It’s 2.65 npxG + AG/90 is third-best in the table.
- Progressive Carries: CHE 100 BHA 68
- Progressive Passes: CHE 214 BHA 141
- In 21 home matches in this competition under the current manager, CHE has a 13W 6L 2P ledger (62%). It has earned 43/63 points during this time and has a +19 Goal-Differential. CHE is unbeaten at Stamford Bridge for the 2025 calendar year to-date in all competitions.
KEY OPINION
- Both teams had easy EFL jousts on Wednesday. The Seagulls are the ones that have to travel here as the Blues get to stay home.
MY TAKE
It’s a play on home Chelsea to win the match (M/ L) inside 90+ minutes when it hosts Brighton & Hove Albion Saturday afternoon at Stamford Bridge in London. I feel much better about the quality of play from the Blues as I do the Seagulls. That was a gripping experience being on BHA last week. They were completely overpowered by Tottenham for much of that match as I have real concerns as to whether this club can play with the Premier League elite in current form. Chelsea gets to stay home after mid-week EFL Cup play…that is factored into here. I could potentially play CHE to 35 cents.

KEY METRICS
- EVE: Ranks 5/20 in xG+AG/90 (2.60) & 5/20 in npxG/90 (1.40).
- GK SV%: EVE 73.3% WHU 43.5% (19/20)
KEY OPINION
- EVE: Lost to Wolves in the EFL Cup on Tuesday. Its next match isn’t until Monday, when its hosts West Ham here. The extra rest has to favor the Toffees.
MY TAKE
For the *Best Bet by Darkseid Sports* in MW6, it’s a play on Everton laying the half goal when it hosts West Ham Monday evening at Hill Dickinson Stadium right on the River Mersey. Everton is statistically superior to West Him in essentially all facets, have passed the eye test more than Hammers have and this being a Monday Night fixture, I think it favors the home side here. I’m expecting a major, upscale bounce back from Everton after bowing-out of the EFL Cup to lowly Wolves and that starts with a manageable assignment versus West Ham at home. I just don’t have confidence in the project in-total and have reservations about the consistency in regard to West Ham. I’ll play to -30 cents.

BEYOND THE TABLE
You can get the Premier League table anywhere. It’s superfluous at MW6. I might check it out in January. . But a table built on xG is something we can use for Sports Investment purposes in the now and Squawka has done solid, practical work in bringing us this PL table built on xG.
